Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Modernization

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our international team at Introduct Group, focusing on the modernization of Oman's national tax system. This Senior DevOps Engineer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale project that aims to transition from a traditional system to a fully automated, cloud-native infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and operate a scalable, highly available infrastructure in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Automate delivery pipelines, observability, and production operations, including support for AI/ML components.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, primarily using Terraform and Helm.
• Manage cloud resources and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters using Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Docker.
• Support containerized applications and services, ensuring efficient scaling based on system load.
• Collaborate with the team to deploy validated AI/ML models in a containerized environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of GitOps principles.
• Experience with Docker for containerization.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
