About the Role

AI Superior is seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our remote team. As a leading AI agency founded in 2019, we have been at the forefront of AI development and consulting, long before the GenAI hype. Our clients range from small startups to international corporations like Boehringer Ingelheim. We support these clients from building proof of concepts to production systems, covering areas such as Data Science, Machine Learning, and general AI consulting. In this Senior Data Scientist remote role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team across Europe while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Structure, manage, and lead client activities, including data science and machine learning projects.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and drive technical discussions, reviewing code and technical approaches.
  • Stay updated on state-of-the-art technologies and assess their applicability to customer use cases.
  • Collaborate with the presales team to develop potential use cases and project ideas.
  • Contribute to the oversight of projects and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industrial experience in an ML/AI-related environment.
  • MSc/Ph.D. in Mathematics, Optimization, (Electrical) Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in Python and main data science libraries.
  • Experience in software development, designing, and scaling productive ML pipelines and systems.
  • Deep expertise in one of the domains: Computer Vision, NLP (including LLM-based), or Sensor Data Analysis.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills; business fluent in English.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of self-responsibility and a goal-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

  • Proven ML skills demonstrated through academic papers, a strong Kaggle profile, or open-source projects on GitHub.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud providers like AWS or OVHCloud.
  • Familiarity with neural networks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
  • Knowledge of German is a plus.
