Senior Data Scientist - Fulfilment Optimization

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Fulfilment team at Nivoda. This remote position focuses on building predictive models and forecasting systems that optimize our supply chain performance. You will play a crucial role in transforming our delivery predictions, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization processes.

What You'll Do

• Delivery Prediction: Build and iterate on predictive models that enhance our delivery accuracy from broad estimates to specific delivery dates.
• Demand Forecasting: Develop and own demand forecasting models for our Express offerings across various products.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce lead times and improve fulfilment accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to define data requirements and build robust data pipelines.
• Surface actionable insights to drive speed and accuracy within the Fulfilment organization.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience as a data scientist, with a proven track record of deploying predictive models in production.
• Proficiency in machine learning, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish.
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly with data engineering teams.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

Nice to Have

• Background in supply chain, logistics, or fulfilment.
• Experience with replenishment problems, routing logic, or inventory optimization.
• Familiarity with real-time or dynamic data systems at scale.
• Proximity to one of our hubs in the Netherlands or London.
