Senior Data Scientist - DSP Focus (Remote)

About the Role

Join Xebia as a Senior Data Scientist focusing on Demand-Side Platforms (DSP) in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data science to develop and optimize machine learning models that enhance advertising strategies. You will work with a diverse team of professionals to create data-driven solutions that impact various industries, including fintech, e-commerce, and media.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement machine learning models for campaign optimization, focusing on bid strategies and budget allocation within the DSP environment.
• Lead the design of model orchestration layers to tackle complex multi-objective optimization challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure model performance aligns with business KPIs.
• Drive data and ML strategy for audience segmentation and targeting capabilities using first- and third-party data sources.
• Conduct deep-dive analytics to uncover insights into campaign performance and market trends.
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of rigorous experimentation and statistical excellence.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role, particularly in the ad-tech space.
• Expertise in DSPs, programmatic advertising, and CTV measurement.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with a strong command of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2+) with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GCP and the Vertex AI ecosystem.
• Familiarity with LLMs and agentic AI frameworks.
