Senior Data Scientist - AI Centre of Excellence (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Tata Tele Business Services. This remote Data Scientist position offers an exciting opportunity to lead enterprise-wide AI initiatives, focusing on predictive analytics, digital analytics, and data sciences. You will be a key contributor in designing scalable AI solutions, enabling predictive insights, and fostering AI adoption across various business units.

What You'll Do

• Apply advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques, including regression, classification, and clustering, to solve complex business problems.
• Utilize deep expertise in Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant technologies to deliver AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and assess the accuracy of new data sources to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Deliver proof of concepts within 6-8 weeks, demonstrating high accuracy and rapid outcomes.
• Document use cases, solutions, and recommendations for stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead initiatives to maximize ROI from AI investments and promote responsible AI usage.
• Ensure compliance with AI governance and ethical standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• 7+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3+ years in Generative AI or AI/ML solution delivery.
• Proven track record in delivering AI/ML solutions and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication capabilities.
• Familiarity with telecom BSS/OSS or cloud platforms is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Understanding of AI governance and responsible AI practices.
