Senior Brand & Graphic Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join Proton as a Senior Brand & Graphic Designer and help shape the future of privacy online. This remote opportunity allows you to work with a team dedicated to creating impactful visual experiences that resonate with millions of users globally. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing Proton's visual identity across various platforms.

What You'll Do

• Produce strong vector illustrations and graphic compositions to support storytelling across blog articles, feature launches, educational content, and promotional campaigns.
• Design high-quality visual assets from brief to final production, ensuring alignment with the Proton Design System.
• Create and evolve brand elements such as logos, icons, illustrations, and visual systems to maintain Proton’s identity.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Brand, and Engineering teams to deliver visually impactful and conversion-oriented designs.
• Ensure consistency across all touchpoints by maintaining and evolving brand guidelines and reusable design components.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Brand Designer or Illustrator (agency or in-house).
• Strong expertise in brand systems and the ability to apply visual guidelines consistently across various formats.
• Excellent skills in vector design, illustration, typography, layout, and graphic composition.
• High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; After Effects is a plus).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

Nice to Have

• Experience in working with privacy-focused brands or tech companies.
• Knowledge of web design principles and user experience.
