Senior Brand Designer - Remote Opportunity at CHAOS Industries

About the Role

CHAOS Industries is seeking a talented Senior Brand Designer to join our innovative team. This Senior Brand Designer remote position offers you the chance to redefine modern defense branding while working with a multi-product portfolio that empowers warfighters and commercial operators. You will play a critical role in creating visually engaging designs that effectively convey complex information and concepts.

What You'll Do

• Develop comprehensive brand identity systems, including typography, color, imagery, and visual language.
• Create brand guidelines and design systems that scale across digital, print, and environmental applications.
• Produce key brand assets, templates, graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for various projects, including marketing materials and digital media.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and feedback to ensure effective design solutions.
• Transform complex technical data into clear and engaging visual representations, such as infographics and diagrams.
• Exercise project management skills to balance priorities and communicate effectively with teams to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all design work produced.
• Partner with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors as needed.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with leading brand identity work and experience across various mediums.
• Proven track record of leading projects from strategy through execution.
• Ability to transform complex ideas into compelling narratives.
• Mastery of design principles, including typography, color theory, illustration, composition, and form.
• Fluency in Figma and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work strategically in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Willingness to work hybrid in either San Francisco or Los Angeles.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in design, art, architecture, or industrial design.
• Experience with motion and animation.
• Experience with photography and videography.
• Experience with 3D software (Cinema4D or similar).
• U.S. Person status.
