Senior Associate, Finance - Remote Opportunity

Join Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer as a Senior Associate, Finance in a remote capacity. As a Senior Associate, you will be integral in delivering excellent client service and navigating complex finance transactions.

What You'll Do

• Advise on various finance transactions, primarily focusing on corporate, acquisition, leveraged financing, and fund financing transactions.
• Assist in negotiating transactions and building relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth.
• Act for lenders and borrowers in relation to general corporate and acquisition facilities.
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, ensuring compliance with risk requirements and firm policies.
• Plan, prioritize, and delegate work tasks effectively while updating the supervising partner on progress.
• Support the firm by building effective relationships across offices and assisting with the preparation of legal precedents and marketing documents.

Requirements

• Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar.
• 5+ years of PQE with a strong focus on funds finance.
• Proven legal skills in drafting, writing, negotiation, and project management.
• A strong desire to contribute to the firm's success and brand.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with clients and provide excellent service.

Nice to Have

• Experience in infrastructure M&A financings and fund finance.
• Knowledge of general banking matters.
• Strong commercial acumen.
