Senior Architectural Designer - Custom Residential Focus

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join our team in Missoula, United States. As a Senior Architectural Designer remote, you will have the opportunity to design extraordinary custom homes where architecture, structure, and craft work together seamlessly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a custom residential environment and is fluent in Revit.

What You'll Do

• Lead and contribute to projects through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
• Develop and maintain high-quality Revit models and drawing sets.
• Coordinate architectural intent with structural, civil, and MEP consultants.
• Apply strong structural understanding to inform layout, spans, systems, and constructability.
• Collaborate closely with builders to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and buildable.
• Participate in client presentations and design discussions.
• Maintain a high level of technical accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Experience delivering detailed construction document sets.
• Strong understanding of structural systems and coordination.
• Experience working on custom residential projects.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Registered Architect (RA) / NCARB.
• Experience with luxury or high-end residential projects.
• Comfort working directly with builders and clients.
• Familiarity with Mountain West or similar regional construction.
