What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and optimization of analytics pipelines and data models that empower TRM’s products and investigations.
  • Define and implement best practices in analytics engineering, focusing on testing, observability, and documentation.
  • Enhance the scalability and maintainability of our analytics data ecosystem through strategic architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver production-ready datasets that support critical models and metrics.
  • Establish robust data quality solutions to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our analytics.
  • Investigate performance issues and propose durable solutions to improve long-term reliability and developer experience.
  • Drive the adoption of modern data tools and workflows, evolving our analytics engineering practices.
  • Participate in team on-call responsibilities to support the health and availability of our analytics infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data science.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling using dbt or equivalent tools.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including Python and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using LLMs and enabling AI through high-quality data infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with dashboarding tools like Looker or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and best practices.
