About the Role

What You'll Do
- Lead the development and optimization of analytics pipelines and data models that empower TRM’s products and investigations.
- Define and implement best practices in analytics engineering, focusing on testing, observability, and documentation.
- Enhance the scalability and maintainability of our analytics data ecosystem through strategic architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver production-ready datasets that support critical models and metrics.
- Establish robust data quality solutions to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our analytics.
- Investigate performance issues and propose durable solutions to improve long-term reliability and developer experience.
- Drive the adoption of modern data tools and workflows, evolving our analytics engineering practices.
- Participate in team on-call responsibilities to support the health and availability of our analytics infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data science.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling using dbt or equivalent tools.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including Python and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience using LLMs and enabling AI through high-quality data infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with dashboarding tools like Looker or Tableau.
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks and best practices.
