Senior Accountant - Remote Opportunity at Parloa

As a Senior Accountant (remote) at Parloa, your mission is to build scalable, efficient, and compliant accounting processes that support our rapid global growth. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead initiatives across technical accounting, reporting, and systems to ensure we meet the highest standards.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable accounting policies and internal controls in line with IFRS & HGB.
• Build systems and reports to streamline the month-end close process.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests.
• Analyze monthly variances and explain business drivers.
• Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams to solve process issues and drive improvements.
• Partner with the Finance Leadership on ad hoc projects and general corporate accounting matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in tech or public/private accounting.
• Deep knowledge of HGB; IFRS/US GAAP is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a track record of building efficient, scalable processes.
• Detail-oriented, independent, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with NetSuite is a plus.
• Experience with inter-company transactions, consolidation, and foreign currency translation.
• Fluent (C1+) in German and English.

• Knowledge of additional accounting software.
