About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Strategy and Merchandising Architect to join our team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of our physical identity, leading the charge in creating a unified brand experience across Canada. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this strategic position places you at the heart of our national evolution.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the execution of brand standards across all service centers.
  • Modernize and define brand standards to ensure consistency.
  • Develop an effective merchandising strategy that enhances customer experience.
  • Ensure a coherent and memorable brand experience across all touchpoints.
  • Supervise on-ground execution to maintain brand integrity.
  • Redefine standards by establishing guidelines for marketing and design at retail locations.
  • Drive innovation by implementing strategies that highlight our products and services in the customer journey.
  • Create flexible concepts that adapt to regional realities while preserving national brand integrity.
  • Develop impactful merchandising strategies for products and services, including signage and displays.
  • Design briefs for creative projects and validate them with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external partners to transform strategic visions into creative solutions.
  • Create and make accessible retail standards guides via internal platforms.
  • Ensure a consistent brand experience across corporate and franchise service centers.
  • Act as a consultant for major renovations and special cases.
  • Lead and coach the project manager responsible for on-ground brand activation during openings and renovations.
  • Navigate between departments to ensure technical feasibility of projects.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in retail marketing, commercial environment design, or brand management.
  • Strong marketing acumen to protect brand DNA and operational understanding of physical constraints.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and structure processes effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluent in both French and English.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage budgets and multiple projects.
