Remote Senior Product Designer - AI-Driven Design Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Product Designer to join our innovative team at JumpCloud. This role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will directly impact our customers and drive business growth. As a Remote Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric designs that enhance our open directory platform.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product Management to identify key problems worth solving and translate user insights into actionable design strategies.
• Own the design process from early discovery through to the delivery of high-quality products, ensuring a seamless transition from design to implementation.
• Raise the bar for usability and visual quality across our product suite, contributing reusable patterns and components back into our design system.
• Architect and evolve our design system to support a rapidly expanding product suite, ensuring it remains scalable and free from design debt.
• Bridge the gap between design and engineering by managing advanced Figma structures and ensuring our designs translate seamlessly into a high-performance codebase.
• Create documentation and workflows that empower other designers, establishing best practices for component usage and accessibility standards.
• Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and post-launch analysis to inform design decisions and iterate based on real user behavior.
• Apply AI thoughtfully across the design process to accelerate ideation and prototyping, leveraging modern Figma capabilities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design craft.
• Experience in designing for complex systems, such as IT workflows or developer tools.
• Proven track record of shipping B2B products while balancing user needs with business constraints.
• Comfortable working in agile environments, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.
• Experience contributing to or evolving a design system.
• Familiarity with IT administration or identity management is a plus.
• Fluency in AI tools like Figma AI to enhance design workflows.
• Ability to translate emerging design tooling into practical workflows for the team.
