About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative team at Aguru, an agentic AI automation platform designed for SaaS businesses. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform, working closely with product, design, and AI engineering teams. As our first Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll have the unique opportunity to own critical parts of the product architecture and deliver scalable, user-friendly features.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain core application features using Next.js.
  • Develop robust APIs and server components to enhance functionality.
  • Work with Supabase (PostgreSQL) to create data models, queries, and role-based access policies.
  • Implement responsive and accessible UIs with React, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui.
  • Integrate AI and automation frameworks such as Mastra, Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI, and Google Gemini.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong expertise in React and Next.js.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Solid experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and Supabase.
  • Knowledge of API design and modern state management techniques.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization flows.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and debugging complex workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/LLM integrations (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini).
  • Experience in LLM prompt engineering.
  • Previous work in SaaS platforms or workflow automation tools.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
