IT Administrator - Hosting & Database Management (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Administrator specializing in Hosting and Database Management to join our dynamic team at Hirschvogel Group. As an IT Administrator, you will ensure the availability and proper functioning of our central hosting systems and databases. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and contribute to the automotive industry, where our components can be found in every third car worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of central hosting systems and databases.
• Implement new concepts and infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate in developing new solutions in the hosting and database areas.
• Participate in planning and executing complex IT projects.
• Create and maintain IT system documentation.
• Provide global support for IT teams.
• Manage the product and system lifecycle in your area of responsibility.
• Monitor and ensure the achievement of internally defined KPIs.

Requirements

• Higher education in computer science or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., MS SQL).
• Experience with hosting infrastructure (servers, storage systems).
• Experience working in a global IT environment (multi-site).
• Familiarity with ITIL 4.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Certifications in relevant IT fields.
