About the Role
We’re excited to announce an opening for a Remote SDET Intern at Prophecy, a leader in AI-native data preparation and analysis. This role is perfect for those eager to learn and grow in the field of software testing. As a Remote SDET Intern, you will work closely with our India engineering team, gaining valuable experience in both manual and automated testing processes.
What You’ll Do
- Write and execute tests to ensure our software functions correctly.
- Learn and apply various automation tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle.
- Take ownership of small testing projects to enhance your skills.
- Continuously improve your technical knowledge under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience in testing or software development (freshers are welcome).
- Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
- Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
- Eager to learn, curious, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or JUnit.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms, or microservices.
