About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote PHP Laravel Developer to join our innovative team at Agent Legend. If you thrive in a challenging environment and are eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects, this role is perfect for you. You will report directly to our CTO and CEO, playing a crucial role in shaping our AI-driven communication tools.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize our Laravel-based backend applications.
  • Work with queues (Beanstalkd, Redis, Supervisor) to manage large-scale workloads.
  • Build and integrate APIs (internal + 3rd-party like CRMs, messaging platforms, payment systems).
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code following modern PHP best practices.
  • Collaborate with our AI and frontend teams to deliver new features.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize for performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel (5+ years preferred).
  • Experience with queues (Beanstalkd, Redis, Supervisor, Horizon).
  • Solid knowledge of MySQL (indexes, performance optimization, migrations).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks (bonus).
  • Comfortable with Git, Docker, and Linux servers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Background in AI/ML-driven applications.
  • Experience scaling high-concurrency systems.
  • Familiarity with telephony (Twilio, Plivo) or messaging APIs.
