About the Role

We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Remote KIP Summer 2026 Social Media Intern with Stand Together. This internship is part of the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid, 12-week experiential learning program designed to provide meaningful work experience at non-profits across the United States. As a social media intern, you will have the chance to engage with critical issues while gaining valuable skills in social media management.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the Foundation for Economic Education's (FEE) voice on social media platforms like X and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging original content for platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, and X.
  • Automate responses on social media communities to enhance engagement.
  • Provide administrative support to the social media team, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Utilize Monday.com for task tracking, project coordination, and content calendars.

Requirements

  • Majors in Journalism, Communications, English, Economics, or Political Science preferred but not required.
  • Strong interest in social media content creation and audience engagement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com.

Nice to Have

  • Ability to think creatively and adapt to trends in social media.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera for short-form video content.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.

  • A stipend of $5,500 for part-time (24 hours/week) or $7,500 for full-time (32 hours/week) work.
