About the Role
We are looking for a Remote DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Bugcrowd. This role is crucial in supporting and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling. As a Remote DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling our engineering teams with reliable deployment pipelines and scalable infrastructure for our cutting-edge security platform.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployments, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Support cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices to streamline operations.
- Assist in operating Kubernetes clusters and related platform services to optimize performance.
- Monitor system health and assist with incident response and root cause analysis to maintain operational excellence.
- Implement automation to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency, driving innovation.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues, fostering a culture of teamwork.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Remote DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, particularly in a microservices environment.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with container orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
