About the Role
Figma is seeking a Remote Design Program Manager - AI Focus to join our growing team of passionate creatives and builders. As a key player in our AI initiatives, you will manage complex AI-driven design workstreams, ensuring that our teams can bring ideas to life efficiently and effectively.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end design program management for AI-related workstreams, including planning, prioritization, coordination, risk management, and communication across Product Design Engineering (PDE).
- Build an evergreen design evaluation program for AI work, coordinating around new model drops, managing contractors, and synthesizing feedback into actionable insights.
- Orchestrate collaboration across multiple designers, teams, and pillars on complex, business-critical projects.
- Partner closely with AI design leadership and cross-functional teams to bring structure and clarity to complex AI initiatives.
- Provide calm and rigorous management in fast-paced environments with tight timelines and constant change.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in design program management, particularly in AI-focused projects.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in design.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in a remote environment and managing distributed teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Background in UX/UI design or product design.
