About the Role

We are looking for a talented Remote Content Strategist to join our dynamic team at Paintgun. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our creative direction and driving innovative content strategies that resonate with audiences. As a Remote Content Strategist, you will work closely with various teams to develop engaging video campaigns that elevate our brand's presence in the digital landscape.

What You'll Do

• Develop and oversee creative concepts for video campaigns, from ideation to final cut.
• Storyboard and direct short-form videos that resonate with social audiences.
• Collaborate with creators, editors, and internal teams to ensure content feels authentic and on-brand.
• Lead visual storytelling across channels with a strong sense of narrative, pacing, and audience engagement.
• Continuously test and iterate video formats based on performance and platform trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in video content creation, ideally in a creative agency or social-first brand (please share your portfolio).
• Proven experience storyboarding and directing short-form videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Strong understanding of creator-style content — raw, engaging, and optimized for social (not overly polished).
• Comfortable leading creative direction from concept to post-production.
• Bonus: graphic design background.
