About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Certified Medical Assistant to join our compassionate team at Midi Health. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the best care possible. This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility while making a significant impact on patient health outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate with patients through various channels including phone, video, email, and patient portal messages, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Complete a high volume of prior authorizations efficiently and accurately.
• Perform clinical administrative functions within the scope of your certification.
• Follow provider instructions to manage pharmacy refills, lab results, and patient messages promptly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative to overcome obstacles and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• National Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) from NHA, AMT, or AAMA is required.
• Prior experience utilizing the CoverMyMeds system is essential.
• Experience in submitting prior authorizations for weight loss medications electronically and over the phone.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to treating patients with kindness and optimism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
