Remote Assistant Controller - Finance Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Remote Assistant Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. As a Remote Assistant Controller, you will oversee financial reporting, audits, and accounting operations across multiple entities, making a significant impact on our organization.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage internal controls and ensure accuracy in account reconciliations.
• Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Lead financial management initiatives and KPI measurement to drive performance.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Assistant Controller.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in HVAC or service industries.
• Familiarity with Service Titan software.
• Leadership experience in finance teams.
