Remote Accountant - Join a Leading IoT Company

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Accountant to join our innovative team at Hologram. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our financial transactions and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. As a Remote Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking company dedicated to connecting devices globally through our cellular platform.

What You'll Do

• Own the monthly close process and ensure accurate revenue recording as a Remote Accountant.
• Research accounting issues for compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Partner with business units for financial accountability.
• Assist with NetSuite implementation and lead Accounts Receivable operations.
• Resolve billing inquiries and support corporate income tax compliance.
• Prepare and file annual 1099 reports.

Requirements

• 4+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Sound understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end processes.
• Experience with U.S. Sales & Use tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software (NetSuite preferred).
• Experience with Revenue Recognition and Inventory accounting.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools in finance/accounting is a plus.
