Remote Academic Content Specialist - Educational Content Creation

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Academic Content Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality educational content that engages learners and enhances their educational experience. As a Remote Academic Content Specialist, you'll collaborate with subject matter experts to develop instructional materials, ensuring they meet educational standards and accessibility guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Develop and edit academic content for various platforms, ensuring clarity and engagement.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to create effective learning experiences.
• Utilize HTML and other digital tools to format content for online delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in all materials.
• Analyze user feedback and data to improve content effectiveness and learner engagement.
• Participate in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Support B2B sales initiatives through the creation of compelling educational resources.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor content accordingly.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in academic content creation or instructional design.
• Strong understanding of educational technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with data analysis and content management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with STEM subjects, particularly Physics, is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in graphic design and long-form writing.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and contract administration.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
