Registered Dental Assistant - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team remotely. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will perform a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting a safe and clean environment for providing quality dental care. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
What You'll Do
- Assist doctors in various dental procedures and communicate effectively with patients.
- Maintain equipment and inventory, ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
- Review patient charts daily to ensure all documentation is complete.
- Pack and send lab cases promptly, rescheduling patients as necessary.
- Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments to maintain a safe environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and team huddles to enhance team communication.
- Fill in for back-office positions as needed to support the team.
- Follow universal precautions and dental board regulations diligently.
Requirements
- Valid California Registered Dental Assistant license.
- Current Radiographic Certification and CPR certification required.
- Infection Control certification required.
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Dental Assistant preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting School preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Ability to travel between offices as necessary.
