About the Role

We are seeking a talented and imaginative Reality Show Scriptwriter to join our dynamic team at Beauty Set. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to craft engaging narratives for a reality show focused on building relationships. As a Reality Show Scriptwriter, you will play a crucial role in shaping the emotional arcs and dramatic moments that captivate our audience.

What You'll Do

• Design the structure of the show, developing seasonal strategies and key plot points that evolve relationships.
• Write episode scripts, including event outlines, captivating scenes, timestamps, and dramatic notes.
• Invent show mechanics, including games, challenges, and voting rules that encourage honesty and dynamic relationship building.
• Draft scripts for hosts, including openings, announcements, transitions, key phrases, and closing monologues.
• Create scenes for interactive moments, including voting, open letters, and past traces.
• Generate questions and situations, creating themes and provocations for honest dialogues, emotional revelations, and plot twists.
• Work on set, observing participants, adjusting scenes, and advising directors and hosts on dramatic improvements.
• Participate in casting, assisting in selecting dramatic types, and composing profiles and test questions for show candidates.

Requirements

• Experience in writing scripts for YouTube channels, reality shows, digital platforms, or public events.
• Deep understanding of dramaturgy, ability to build arcs, create hooks, manage tension, and release steam at the right moments.
• Willingness to work on set, adjusting scripts in real-time, and feeling the rhythm of filming.
• Ability to write concise and impactful lines for hosts (introductions, transitions, key phrases).
• Emotional intelligence and understanding of psychology, capable of creating scripts that foster active participant interaction.
• Creativity and stress resilience.
• Strong written communication skills and a sense of dialogue rhythm.
• Willingness to accept revisions and work in a multitasking environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in reality TV production.
• Familiarity with audience engagement strategies.
• Knowledge of current trends in reality television.
