German Language Translator - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled German Language Translator to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a German Language Translator, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps and ensuring accurate translations across various contexts. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to contribute significantly to our projects.

What You'll Do

• Translate documents and content from German to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Utilize CAT tools such as Trados, SmartCat, and Memsource to enhance translation efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and deadlines.
• Provide feedback on translation processes and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all translations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a translator, specifically in German and English.
• Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, SmartCat, Memsource) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of translation best practices and terminology.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to work outside of regular hours (6 PM to midnight Moscow time) as needed.
