Middle/​Senior ML Engineer - Speech Synthesis for VoiceKit

About the Role

We are looking for a Middle/Senior ML Engineer specializing in Speech Synthesis to join our innovative team at VoiceKit. This remote position allows you to work on cutting-edge projects that enhance speech recognition and synthesis technologies. As a Middle/Senior ML Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving models and products, generating hypotheses, and conducting experiments to advance our capabilities in the field.

What You'll Do

• Identify and analyze issues and improvement points in models and products.
• Generate hypotheses and ideas to enhance our speech synthesis technologies.
• Design and conduct experiments to validate your hypotheses.
• Implement successful cases and ensure their integration into our systems.
• Collect, synthesize, and configure text and audio data annotations.
• Maintain the quality of the codebase and research artifacts.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge and experience in one of the following domains: Large generative models, Speech recognition, Speech or Music synthesis, Reinforcement learning.
• Ability to design transparent architectures and develop maintainable code.
• Experience in synthesizing viable hypotheses and executing series of experiments for validation.
• Willingness to take responsibility for tasks and work with high autonomy.
• Regularly update your knowledge in audio, LLM domains, and deep learning in general.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
