About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer II remote to join our team at Zimmer Biomet. As a global leader in medical technology, we enhance patient mobility every eight seconds with our innovative products. What You'll Do

  • Manage the approval process and release of documents within the Quality Management System.
  • Ensure compliance of all documents with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate document change requests (DCRs) and track progress while communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audits from the document control perspective.
  • Manage training assignments and curricula updates within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ensure training records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Monitor training compliance metrics and follow up with employees and supervisors as necessary.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining training materials and documentation.
  • Maintain equipment inventory, calibration schedules, and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and equipment qualification activities with internal teams and external vendors.

Requirements

  • B.S. in engineering or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree with certification as a quality engineer (e.g., CQE).
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device industry, particularly in orthopedics, is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of QSR/ISO regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
