What You'll Do
- Manage the approval process and release of documents within the Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance of all documents with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate document change requests (DCRs) and track progress while communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits from the document control perspective.
- Manage training assignments and curricula updates within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure training records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Monitor training compliance metrics and follow up with employees and supervisors as necessary.
- Assist in developing and maintaining training materials and documentation.
- Maintain equipment inventory, calibration schedules, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and equipment qualification activities with internal teams and external vendors.
Requirements
- B.S. in engineering or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree with certification as a quality engineer (e.g., CQE).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
- Experience in the medical device industry, particularly in orthopedics, is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of QSR/ISO regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
