QA Specialist - Remote Automation & Manual Testing

About the Role

We're hiring a QA Specialist - Remote to join our dynamic team at pear tree. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of web, mobile, and API releases. As a QA Specialist, you'll drive testing, automation, and process improvements while working in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Product team to understand functional requirements.
• Write test cases, execute tests, and document outcomes for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Continuously seek opportunities to automate manual testing processes.
• Be accountable for the quality of technical releases.
• Assist the wider team with various QA tasks.
• Promote a QA mindset within the organization to minimize operational issues.
• Stay updated with technology trends to enhance testing practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Experience with automating manual functional tests using cloud tools like Browserstack, LamdaTest, and SmartBear.
• Operational knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
• Self-starter capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
