Project Engineer - Track for Sydney Metro West

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer - Track remote to join our team at John Holland, where we transform lives through infrastructure. This role is pivotal in delivering one of Sydney’s most transformative infrastructure projects, the Sydney Metro West, a 24-kilometre underground railway connecting the Sydney and Parramatta CBDs.

What You'll Do

• Play a key role in the delivery of 16 key buildings, including the Stabling and Maintenance Facility and Operations Control Centre.
• Manage the installation of permanent way infrastructure throughout the stabling yard and tunnels.
• Oversee corridor systems including HV & LV electrical, 25kV traction power, and communications systems.
• Ensure compliance with Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating v2.1 and Green Star Buildings v1.
• Collaborate with industry leaders to develop your skills on this landmark project.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer, ideally in infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of track engineering and railway systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
