Production Network Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Production Network Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Dropbox. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our production network infrastructure. As a Production Network Engineer - Remote, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with senior technical leaders to shape the future of our network.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement network solutions using BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
• Automate network configurations and monitoring using Python and Ansible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance.
• Participate in incident management and troubleshooting of network issues.
• Contribute to the development of network architecture and strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a network engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of data analytics and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
