About the Role

We're hiring a Product Owner II to join our team at Johnson Health Tech. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Owner II remote position where you will partner with global teams to enhance our fitness platforms and spearhead the development of innovative fitness products.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the product vision and roadmap planning, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Translate strategic objectives into prioritized features and epics to maximize product value.
  • Own and maintain a refined, prioritized product backlog, ensuring readiness ahead of sprint planning.
  • Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria that guide development.
  • Make scope and priority decisions to optimize value delivery and ensure successful product delivery within an Agile framework.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, facilitating effective communication.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment.
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, escalating risks and impediments as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a 4-year degree in computer science, information systems, business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or related roles.
  • Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of backlog management, story writing, and sprint ceremonies.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

  • Experience in the health and fitness industry.
  • Familiarity with user experience design principles.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management.
