Product Designer - Remote Opportunity at Tide

About the Role

We're hiring a Product Designer to join our team at Tide. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Designer who wants to work remotely and make a significant impact on our product offerings. As a Product Designer, you will help shape the user experience for over 1.8 million members globally.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and beyond.
• Utilize your full range of Product Design skills to create engaging experiences across mobile and web platforms.
• Transform design concepts from early-stage prototypes into high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Conduct user research sessions to gain insights into member needs and preferences.
• Work closely with UX Research and UX Writing teams to ensure a user-centered design approach.
• Contribute to the Tide Design System, ensuring consistency and quality in all user experiences.
• Track design efforts against OKRs and measure the impact of design on user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure product quality.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in product design or UX roles, focusing on web and mobile platforms.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your product thinking, user experience, and visual design skills.
• Experience in conducting user research and running moderated sessions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Figma and a good understanding of Design Systems and accessibility.
• Strong storytelling skills to communicate the rationale behind design decisions.
• Understanding of the end-to-end design process from ideation to launch.

Nice to Have

• Experience with complex product design projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
