About the Role

We are seeking a talented ODL Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Anaplan. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable ELT pipelines to ensure data flows seamlessly.
• Build and support scalable REST services using Python to enhance our data processing capabilities.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Utilize Terraform to manage and provision infrastructure as code, streamlining our development processes.
• Develop comprehensive tests to ensure data quality and system reliability, contributing to our commitment to excellence.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on projects using SQL, Jupyter Notebooks, and Pandas to derive actionable insights.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of BI Dashboarding solutions that provide valuable visualizations for our clients.
• Work within a team-focused environment, demonstrating curiosity and a data-driven mindset to solve complex problems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a software or data engineering role, showcasing your expertise as a remote ODL Software Engineer.
• Solid programming skills in Python, with a strong understanding of building or consuming REST services.
• Hands-on experience with a distributed data processing framework like Spark or Databricks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools to ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Basic understanding of data science tools and techniques, including SQL, Jupyter Notebooks, and Pandas.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring and logging.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
