Power Solutions Business Development Specialist - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Power Solutions Business Development Specialist to join our team at Scania. This remote role is pivotal in developing and expanding the Power Solutions market in Italy. As a key point of contact for strategic clients, you will strengthen relationships with key partners while identifying and developing new business opportunities in the industrial and power generation segments.
What You'll Do
- Develop new opportunities and manage structured sales pipelines across various segments of the Power Solutions market, focusing on industrial and power generation.
- Build and consolidate relationships with clients, emphasizing the development and management of key accounts, opportunity oversight, and portfolio growth.
- Lead customer dialogues on projects and applications: gather requirements, define value propositions, negotiate, and close deals while coordinating internal functions for robust and competitive offers.
- Analyze the market (segmentation, trends, application needs) translating insights into actionable go-to-market strategies and commercial priorities.
- Contribute to product and solution positioning in collaboration with the Power Solutions Management in Italy and closely engage with the headquarters to support portfolio evolution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in the Power Solutions sector or related fields (industrial/off-road and/or power generation).
- A degree in Engineering or Economics.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, key players in Italy, and relevant applications.
- Proficient in English, with operational autonomy and willingness to travel frequently.
- Proven track record in developing new business opportunities.
