People Intern - HR Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for a People Intern - HR Operations to join our dynamic People team remotely from January to June 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across the full spectrum of HR operations in a fast-paced start-up environment. As a People Intern, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, gaining invaluable experience in areas including but not limited to employee onboarding, HR systems management, payroll administration, and performance management processes.

What You'll Do

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for all employees.
  • Assist in policy documentation and HR projects, including performance management activities that enhance employee engagement.
  • Help maintain employee records, HR files, and HRIS data entry and updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and day-to-day HR operations to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide support in preparing and coordinating payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Contribute to recruitment activities such as job postings, interview coordination, and enhancing candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and proactive in your approach to tasks.
  • Good communication skills and a team player mindset to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic start-up environment, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Curious and willing to learn across different areas of HR to broaden your skill set.
  • Able to commit full-time for 6 months or more, ensuring continuity in your internship role.

Nice to Have

  • Previous internship experience in HR or related fields.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Singapore.
