About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Park Monitor to join our team in Laval, Canada. This seasonal role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community and ensure the safety and enjoyment of park visitors. As a Park Monitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming environment and providing assistance to park-goers.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the safety of park users and maintain the cleanliness of facilities.
• Welcome citizens and inform them about ongoing programming and activities.
• Conduct patrols to monitor park areas and ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
• Assist the public with specialized activities such as aquatic programs and ticketing.
• Provide first aid and execute directives in case of injuries or emergencies.
• Communicate with emergency services (911) in case of serious accidents.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and submit reports on any incidents or anomalies.
• Deliver announcements over the microphone during interventions (lost children, vehicles).

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school (5th year).
• Certification in emergency first aid and CPR (8 hours).
• Experience in customer service is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
