Operations Specialist - Top Secret Clearance (Remote Support)

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity, supporting critical operations for U.S. government missions. This Operations Specialist role requires a Top Secret clearance and offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to national security.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily operations as a member of a 24/7 support team, ensuring project deliverables are met.
• Monitor mission and support systems, leveraging technical tools to resolve issues promptly.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for IT mission equipment, including servers, routers, and telecommunications.
• Act as an escalation manager liaison between operations and support elements for rapid issue resolution.
• Prepare and disseminate information reports and presentations to project leadership.
• Conduct routine project status meetings with Government Project Managers and identify project challenges.
• Facilitate the creation of document deliverables such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Project Status Reports.
• Train and mentor junior watch standers, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School diploma and four years of experience in a team environment.
• Must possess a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to work shifts, including overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to establish credibility with senior leaders and foster open communication within teams.
• Experience in diverse environments, including military and contractor settings.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with sound judgment.
