Operational Controlling Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Operational Controlling Specialist for a remote opportunity at Vonovia. In this role, you will act as a vital link between the operational region of Berlin, controlling, and accounting. This position offers a chance to contribute to a modern DAX 40 company with a secure order situation.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the interface between the operational region Berlin, controlling, and accounting.
• Collaborate closely with the regional manager and operational department heads to support commercial decisions.
• Monitor revenue and cost bookings and productivity in the region using SAP reports, providing early recommendations for action.
• Contribute significantly to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and analysis of monthly results.
• Maintain all relevant master data for the region and ensure it is up to date.

Requirements

• Commercial training or a completed degree in economics.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and in a structured manner with a keen eye for detail.
• Analytical understanding and the ability to distill complex issues into clear, understandable information for others.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel, along with initial experience in working with database systems and ERP systems.
• 2-5 years of experience in operational controlling or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the real estate sector.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills in both English and German.
