About the Role

We are looking for an Oil Management Specialist to join our team at Nobian. This unique role combines technical expertise, safety, and precision within the mining and cavern sector. As an Oil Management Specialist, you will ensure that our caverns are always supplied with the correct amount of oil, allowing operations to proceed safely and under control. This remote oil management specialist position is crucial for the management and development of our caverns, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure all caverns are supplied with the correct volumes of oil.
  • Temporarily remove oil to facilitate safe repairs and measurements.
  • Monitor pump activities and adjust operations as necessary.
  • Ad-hoc pumping of small oil quantities during workover and repair tasks.
  • Monitor pressure and flow behavior of caverns, coordinating with Operators and Mining teams.
  • Accurately document and report the usage of (diesel) oil as a mining aid.

Requirements

  • Minimum MBO level 3 (mechanical engineering, process technology, or equivalent).
  • Possession of a large driving license and ADR certificate.
  • Experience with borehole operations (drilling, workover, measurements).
  • Basic proficiency in English and German, and skilled in MS Office.
  • Ability to report accurately and work in a structured and safe manner.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a mining or technical environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in mining.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

What We Offer

  • A permanent contract with a two-month probation period.
  • A gross annual salary including 8% vacation pay between EUR 39,000 and 52,000.
  • 35 vacation and leave days.
  • A thirteenth month salary.
