.NET Developer - Remote Position

We are seeking a talented .NET Developer remote to join our dynamic team at Synergy Business Innovation & Solutions. In this role, you will maintain and enhance existing systems while developing new web-based applications. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with analysts and designers to develop and maintain software programs and applications.
• Create and maintain documentation, including flowcharts, layouts, and clear code comments.
• Support internal applications throughout their lifecycle, including custom development and maintenance.
• Develop, translate, and code software programs according to business requirements.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and review of code as required by the project.
• Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with network engineers, administrators, and other staff to resolve software defects.
• Stay updated on state-of-the-art development tools and techniques.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a .NET Developer remote, designing and supporting web-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of .NET, MVC, VB, and experience with ASP.NET Framework 4.0 or later.
• Experience with REST API, React.js, Postman, and PowerShell scripting.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, ADO.NET, and MS Model View Controller (MVC).
• Understanding of application and web security principles, including OWASP.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS SQL Server 2019.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SharePoint 2019 and extensive knowledge of IIS, HTML/CSS.
• Hands-on experience with software troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of applicable PII privacy practices and federal guidelines.
