About the Role

We’re hiring a Mid-Senior Web Designer to join our dynamic team at Rumor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Web Designer to work remotely and create visually compelling, user-friendly products and digital experiences for our clients. As a Web Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across design and development, ensuring that projects meet high-quality standards and deliver on brand objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Design responsive, modern websites and digital interfaces across multiple client projects.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to translate requirements into visually engaging solutions.
  • Maintain brand consistency and apply best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Optimize assets and layouts for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
  • Participate in design reviews, provide feedback, and iterate based on stakeholder input.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve work quality.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of professional web design experience in digital agencies or product studios.
  • Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design and UI/UX skills.
  • Experience collaborating with development teams to implement designs.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (B2-C1 level), both written and spoken.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable working remotely with consistent PST timezone overlap.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with design systems and component libraries.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for better collaboration with developers.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
