Mid-Senior Network Administrator - Hybrid Role

About the Role

We’re hiring a Mid-Senior Network Administrator to join our team at Connect Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with a competitive salary of up to €65,000 per annum. As a Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across networks and systems.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver the global IT roadmap for Network and Client Services within the region.
  • Act as the main escalation point for regional network and client services issues.
  • Manage and administer Azure and VMware server environments.
  • Monitor and maintain WAN connectivity and branch communications.
  • Support Microsoft Exchange, M365, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Oversee and coordinate with local IT vendors and third-party support.
  • Assist with infrastructure projects including network design, security, and capacity planning.
  • Support warehouse operations involving RF devices, Zebra printers, and mobile devices.
  • Collaborate closely with global IT teams and business stakeholders on high-visibility projects.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Layer 2 & 3 networking (VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, LACP).
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
  • Experience with Cisco routing/switching, VPN technologies, and wireless networking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem (Azure AD, M365, Exchange, DNS/DHCP).
  • Cisco CCNA and Fortinet certifications are a huge plus.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%) - once a month on average.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing large-scale network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework.
