Mid-Senior Data Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer remote to join our Commerce Finance Tech Circle Cluster at ABOUT YOU! As a rapidly growing eCommerce player in Europe, we aim to enhance the shopping experience for our customers through innovative technology and data-driven insights.

What You'll Do

• Develop and evaluate statistical models and algorithms for complex marketing issues.
• Conduct independent analysis of complex data to identify new insights and performance optimization opportunities.
• Identify correlations between key figures and derive actionable recommendations.
• Link and utilize data from tracking systems and other reporting sources.
• Support the development and testing of performance-relevant models.
• Initiate and develop prediction and classification models using machine learning algorithms.

Requirements

• At least two years of hands-on experience in Data Science, preferably in an agency, e-commerce, or performance-driven environment.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and a solid understanding of data analysis methods such as regression and clustering.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python or R.
• Experience with Dagster or comparable data orchestration tools is highly appreciated.
• Curiosity and a passion for exploring new topics, statistical methods, and emerging technologies.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of marketing attribution models.
