About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Emerson. This remote Cybersecurity Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to protect critical control systems and IT architecture from cyber threats. You will be part of a global team dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our systems.

What You'll Do

  • Design and architect security tools and solutions for process control systems, ensuring optimal configuration and testing.
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments of control systems and surrounding IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop best practices and security standards.
  • Train users on supported security products and procedures.
  • Analyze risks and threats to process control systems and provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of practical IT/Network experience, with at least 2 years focused on cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with security software such as SIEMs, firewalls, and patch management solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as ISA99/IEC 62443, NERC.
  • Certifications like GICSP, CISSP, or ISACA.
  • Experience with Industrial Control Systems across various industries.
