About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our Warehouse Optimization Team at WebstaurantStore. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team that is dedicated to enhancing our warehouse operations through innovative software solutions. As a key member of our team, you will help design and implement systems that streamline the packaging and shipping processes for our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and deliver software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Build and maintain applications that ensure efficient product movement to our customers.
  • Enhance existing infrastructure while developing new architectural solutions.
  • Contribute to process improvements in both software development and team collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, presenting ideas and taking initiative.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development, particularly in .NET Core (C#).
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as SQL Server and LiteDB.
  • Familiarity with queuing and message broker technologies, including RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Knowledge of caching solutions, especially Redis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment, maintaining availability during EST working hours.

Nice to Have

  • Experience implementing solutions within an event-based architecture.
  • Knowledge of micro frontend solutions.
  • Familiarity with the Blazor web framework.
  • Experience with monitoring and APM tools such as New Relic, Grafana, and Prometheus.
