About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Lead Hemophilia to join our team at Sobi. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to drive strategic medical activities in Switzerland while working remotely. As a Medical Lead Hemophilia, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of patients with rare diseases.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of the medical strategy for hemophilia, aligning with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage and develop staff within the Switzerland medical department, ensuring high standards of professionalism.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and medical scientific stakeholders to create value for patients.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of clinical trials related to hemophilia.
  • Provide expert scientific guidance to internal teams, including research and development, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs.
  • Coordinate medical information inquiries in collaboration with HQ in Stockholm.
  • Attend relevant local, regional, and global congresses to represent Sobi and interact with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest scientific developments, treatment guidelines, and industry trends in hemophilia.

Requirements

  • University degree in medical/science or a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Hands-on experience within hematology or orphan drugs is preferred.
  • Experience with new products, pre-launch and launch activities, and strategy execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of national healthcare systems and practices.
  • Fluency in German and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Ability to create and network with KOLs at the national level.
  • Experience in communicating and building relationships with authorities.
  • Understanding of pricing, regulatory processes, and decision-making in different markets.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in medical/clinical science, clinical development, access, and health economy.
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and healthcare compliance.
  • Experience in managing medical affairs support for marketed products.
