About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manager, Commercial Underwriting (Structured Finance) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. What You'll Do

• Oversee the underwriting process for commercial finance transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Lead a team of underwriters, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies and assess risk factors associated with financial products.
• Conduct data analysis to inform underwriting decisions and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage key account relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
• Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are met.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to enhance underwriting standards.
• Participate in project management initiatives to streamline underwriting workflows and improve team productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial underwriting or structured finance.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of financial products and underwriting processes.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with HR systems and employee benefits is a plus.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
